Have your say on the future of Hertfordshire
Help shape our environment, society and economy
The Hertfordshire Growth Board - made up of leaders from across the County Council, District and Borough Councils, NHS, Police, Business and government - are coming together to ensure Hertfordshire remains a county of opportunity for residents, businesses and communities.
As one of the UK’s least deprived counties, Hertfordshire is a wonderful place to live, visit and work for many of us.
We enjoy outstanding places of natural beauty, some of the highest performing schools in the country, high employment, low crime, strong business and a close proximity to London and Cambridge.
However, not all of Hertfordshire’s communities benefit from this success. Pockets of deprivation exist across the county when it comes to health inequalities, digital exclusion and difficulty accessing quality and affordable housing.
Despite the challenges, we believe Hertfordshire is prepared to pioneer, ready to build on its success and shape a future of opportunity – and we want you to help to get us there.
What? We want to hear from you via our short online survey – an opportunity for you to have your say on the future of Hertfordshire’s people, place and economy.
Who can fill out the survey? Anyone who lives in the county and is interested in shaping the future of Hertfordshire.
How long will it take? No more than 5-10 minutes.
What will happen to the survey data?
- Your feedback will shape the future priorities of Hertfordshire Growth Board (HGB) over the coming years, helping to ensure Hertfordshire continues to be the county of opportunity where residents lead happy, healthy, prosperous lives and businesses thrive and succeed.
- Once we have gathered feedback from the survey, we will launch HGB’s refreshed Vision in 2024, which we will use to unlock investment and respond to the needs of our communities and businesses.
This county-wide survey will allow us to better understand Hertfordshire residents’ needs and aspirations and how working towards shared county-wide goals will deliver sustainable and good growth for all.
The findings will complement existing local and strategic plans, as well as the emerging joint strategic plans, Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership’s economic and inward investment strategies and the county’s Integrated Care Strategy - to ultimately achieve an overarching common purpose on growth for the county.
